Project 1776 is a gathering place. A place to get organized. A place for freedom. A place for truth. We might disagree. We might make you mad. There are no sacred cows.
Small, vocal groups are controlling the narratives in this country. Let’s turn that around.
What we do...
- Defend the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights – All of it. It doesn’t need to be re-written, it needs to be re-read.
- Work to tear down the existing laws, regulations, and bureaucracy that allow the government to take control of our lives and infringe on our personal freedoms.
- Hold leaders and bureaucrats accountable – Local, State, & National – Regardless of party affiliation.
- Research and share information with one another.
- Research and Support candidates for public office who stand for The Constitution and personal freedom.
- Support small businesses and corporations who uphold American values and expose those who do not.
- Have free and meaningful discussions without big tech overlords controlling the conversation. 280 characters is not adequate for sharing real thoughts and ideas.
- Use our collective voices to provide counter-messaging to the rage mobs who thrive on the evils of cancel culture.
- Stand up to assertions that the citizens of the U.S. and our system of Government is systemically racist. This includes but is not limited to Critical Race Theory, the widely discredited 1619 project, ESG scoring, The Great Reset and so on.
- Expose the media for their bias, errors and omissions, and dishonesty. We will celebrate and promote sources and journalists who report fairly and honestly and without bias.
- Protect our country against the influences of Socialism, Marxism and Communism and any efforts to implement those ideas.
- Shed light on and inform the public about controversial policies, failures, and scandals. No gas lighting, no memory holing.
- Be relentless and make ourselves a peaceful menace.
Why we do it...
- The United States is the greatest nation ever to exist on the earth and must be preserved.
- The vast majority of the people in this country have not lost their minds. You see it. For the most part your family , friends, and neighbors, even if they disagree politically, are able to find common ground and allow others the room to live and believe how they want. The blue checkmark crowd and noisy fringe groups on both sides have a political and financial interest in keeping things stirred up. The majority needs to unite and regain control of the conversation.
- Career politicians and bureaucrats (on BOTH sides of the aisle) disregard the Constitution and focus on maintaining their own power. They fail to deliver on promises and then come back each election cycle making the same promises that they’ve never kept before.
- Most members of Congress have fallen out of touch with the real day to day issues facing Americans.
- Strength in numbers. The other side would like you to feel as though you are alone. Conservatives do not have a great record of organizing together for causes, instead hoping that the “silent majority” will just show up. That has to change.
- Many/Most of our current representatives do not have the knowledge or awareness needed to tackle the technical, economic, and international challenges of our day.
- Traditional Values, Religion, Families, and the ideals of hard work and self-reliance that have been the backbone of this country are under assault.
- Conservatives and Constitutionalists need a place to connect, organize, and take action.
